The founder of the company is Nikolaos V. Giannakopoulos, who introduced himself to the general public of Patras with the creation of a store equipped with hardware on Agios Andreou Street. In the period 1961-1963, the company's activity expanded into the field of wire manufacturing with the creation of a wire production area on Trion Navarchon Street and a wholesale branch in Monastiraki, Athens. In 1996, Christos N. Giannakopoulos took over the baton of the company, inaugurating new collaborations mainly in the industrial and agricultural trade with the most well-known and famous brands on the market, such as: STIHL, CASTELLARI etc.

Today, the third generation of the CHRISTOS N. GIANNAKOPOULOS company continues the family tradition with a sense of responsibility and reliability.
